Would a 5 speed tranny from a 79 2wd bolt to an 80 4wd transfer case? They both have the 20R motor in them and the reason we need to switch them is because a bearing is making an awful lot of noise in all gears but 4th and i dont think its gonna live for another winter of plowing. Before i got the idea to fix up my grandpas 82 it was gonna be the plow truck but now im using it and we need the other fixed.
