you should have 4:10 right now. i think the 4:88 would be fine on the highway. do you do alot of highway driving? if not then you know 5:29 would be kick a$$ i think. but then again if it's your daily driver that would probly hurt the has mileage always having to wind it out. just my $.02

For 33's you want 4.88's. 5.29's and 33's suck for a DD, I ran that combo for a month waiting for my 36's, you have a hard time finding the right gear for a speed sometimes.

how do you think 33s and 4.88s would be compared to stock gears and 31s?

33's and 4.88's is a good match, put's you back at stock. Better than stock 4.10's and 31's, UNLESS you have the factory 31" Tire Package, which changes the gearing to to match the taller tire.

i have an auto tranny and 4.3 gears, would 4.88s and 33s put me back at stock or do you think i would need 5.29s?

Possibly. 4.88 is usually reccomended for 33-34" tires, with a 5 spd tranny. Since an auto is usually geared 1 step lower, 5.29's should be right.
