I have a 1994 toyota pickup with a .30 bore over 6inch lift and soon to be 35's, i currently have 33's with stock 4.10's and the truck is a turd it wont go over 75 on a gooda day. I never really off road the truck other than to pull it in the yard to wax it because it is mainly used as my daily driver/showtruck. i have a stage 2 cam right now from crane cam. i was wondering if 5.29's would be a good choice because i want decent power and a high m.p.h to drive on a freeway i take that people run like 90 on... thanks

Although everyone automatically says 5.29's for 35" tires, for a DD that's going to see a lot of highway driving, 4.88's would be better a better choice.
With 5.29's your RPMs will be 3047 in 4th gear and 2438 in 5th. A little high for a 4 cyl.
With 4.88's your RPMs will be 2811 in 4th gear and 2249 in 5th.
If if was going to see a lot of offroad time, 5.29's would be the choice.

I sure hope im not on the road around you when you'll be doin 90 with 35's! You know tires have ratings on them that say that they cant exceed certain speeds and im almost certain that any 35 will def take a beating at 90! Tires do start to fall apart when taken above their rated speed! Just be carefull. I would suggest just buying a car if you are that concerned about speed.

actually i refuse to get rid of my truck regardless of what other people think i am going to do or what will happen. i have a friend with a 90 ford ranger with 39.50 irocks and i have been with him over 100 plenty of times and im still here.i feel that all the lift and tire size in the world means nothing if you have no power and cant get over 70 on the interstate full throttle.
