Hey guys,
Brand new to the site, thought i'd say hi. I have been working on Toyota 4x4's for 15 years now, and have a custom fabrication shop called "TubeWerx" in Denver, Colorado. We do custom sliders, bumpers and roll cages for 1979-2004 Toyota 4x4 pick-ups, 4Runners and Tacomas! I own a 1985 SR5 EFI 4Runner with 327,000 original miles, NO REBUILD on the engine!!! After years of bashing, I have now removed most of the body and frame, and what's left is a Toy Tube Buggy. E-mail me at tubewerx@aol.com to see pics of the buggy, or to inquire about info on my custom fab shop.

:-*working on one as we speak....should be done in a week or two. Thanks for the reply! A custom business like mine needs a website, too many details to describe in words, and you know what they say about pictures... Thanks again.

Welcome sounds like you get to have alot of fun you found the right place for longtime toy owners I myself am on my second my father and step mother have had 3 or 4 of them first one was a 82 custom flatbed it rotted to nothing with 53,000 original he lives in the boston area right off of the water salt water sucks it's killer that you have way over 300,000 original miles how much more do you think your toy is gonna go until you rebuild

I think I can get it to at least 400,000 without too much difficulty. It still has nearly full compression, and the oil stays fairly amber in color between changes, and does not consume or leak oil, so all looks promising for 400K!
