I just got my first Toy. A nice little 1988 truck
w/205,xxx mi. a rusted out box, 22RE engine,
and it leaks oil.
but for $400.00 can I complain (not really)!
I will add pics when I get them,I ripped off the bed,
put new wheels and tires (my cousin had a Toyota that he parted out for 4x4 dune buggys he builds and little 29x10.5r15s are too small for him)
My favoite part is the rear cage, a sort of "exo-skeleton"
I am thinking of having it removable so I can have more than one rear 'thing'. (flatbed,seats-in-a-cage,
roll-off-hunting-blind,exc.)
My truck is dark blue w/rattlecan black tigerstripes
I'm proud of my Beater Toy but it still needs a 3-6in. lift.
(dependant on funds), and a engine rebuild or replacement. I like the 22RE and would want to replace it with the same.
A little acronim for those of us with nothing else to do,
'Drive Over Rugged Earth'-DORE- ... TOYOTAS ARE the
DORE to the off road world!
