I don't if anyone knows this yet but Softopper.com is starting to make soft tops for our old gen 1 4runners. Theyre not on the web site yet but theyre selling them on Ebay for about $650.(Ebay ID is Softopper) They look like REALLY good stuff, I ordered one last week and cant wait to get it. Theyre only making 40 of them at first to gauge the demand but if enough people buy them they will be permenent. They seem to just un-zip and fold back, and the coolest thing is theres NO drilling!!! If youre looking for a soft top and dont want an old used Kayline or want to pay $1600 for a Can-Back then I suggest you check them out.

I saw one of those this weekend at the 4Runner Jamboree. Nice but $650 seems pricey for it.

$650 is dirt cheap compared to some of the others...$100-$1600 is what i've seen others go for

im makin a soft top for my 1991 ex cab truck. should have less than 100 bucks in it when im done
