i got a 94 v-6 with auto the cluster is basic,speedo,temp,and gas gauges.will a cluster from another yoyta with the tach work and just plug in or anybody know an aftermarket co.that sells them?

The cluster from any 89-95 will work. If yours has a mechanical speedo the new one will have to also. If you're going from an OIL idiot light to an OIL gauge, you'll need the oil sending unit also.
If the new one is from a 4 cyl truck there is a way to recal the tach to work with the 6 cyl.

cant you just buy an aftermarket tach and mount it on the post thing on the left side end of the windshield?
I think the look cool big time

I'm with yotapowa, get an aftermarket tach. I got a small one and mounted it on the dash to the left of the guage cluster right under the vent. It was a super simple install and looks good.

i think thats what im gonna do,i kinda was hoping for an aftermarket co. that makes one with white gauges,they look real cool but cant find one

I found the white background for my cluster on ebay for next to nothing. the only problem is the backlight on the white background stopped working. The original dash backlight works well enough

speaking of dash lights, can anybody help me solve my dash light problem? The light only works when it wants to.
