Those Harbor Freight winches are actually made by Milemarker. One of my buddies baught one for his rock buggy, the numbers cross referenced to Milemarker. He burned it up after a few competitions but they replaced it for free. Holy shit, I have never seen a MileMarker Burn up it must have been one of those 1 out of 1,000,000,000 deals. I have never had problems with my MileMarker. It kicks ass. I should also mention that if you ever get stuck out in the boonies and have to spend the night, try sleeping under the truck if there is plenty of room and it is secure and won't roll over you. Just stay away from dripping fluids they can be harmful and may cause serious illness. If it is the middle of winter and you get stuck snow wheeling and have to spend the night, use the rest of your gas to run the heater and keep warm it may save your life. I never had to do this but I learned it on a TV show.

well said snorkle....and don't listen to DEADLYPEACE, he already admitted his sole purpose in life is to serve as a BAD example.
Also, make sure you think about the best line to take when you're going to go through or over an obstacle. When you get up on rocks and are loosing traction, try turning your wheels back and forth....this can help gain traction. When you roll, DON'T stick your arms out the window to try and push your truck back up. That all for now, oh yeah and always do a good job wheeling when there are fly honeys watching.

I dont know if anyone has said this or not but: Always watch the weather forecast the day before or check it on the internet or something. Trust me, wrenching in a rushing washout or in the middle of a blinding snowstorm is a BITCH!!! And yes guys always take a buddy and another rig along whether you are an experienced wheeler or not. You never know what kinda shit you might get into.

Yup I got one for you. when it comes to rocks go slow 4L stay on the high keep off the low. than theres mud I like to G-and-R gun-it and run-it, When it comes to pull your truck out of the mud get a 4 ft long board and a 20 ft chain or cable and hook them up and put the board under the cable and lean the board to the nose of your truck and pull like hell keep in mind we are pulling you backwards.
