Can anyone direct me where to find or can you give me instructions on how to:
1) how to remove the dash panels that hold the radio area in. Someone installed an after market stereo in my 99 tacoma with an empty storage compartment under it, I want to remove this and install a CB, but I can not figure out how to remove the dash area to get to the stereo section
2) how do you remove the grill > the chrome part that goes around the grill and runs down on the inside of the headlight. I want to remove the grill and paint all the chrome pieces black.
Thanks for any help.

Start by removing all of the heater control knobs,AC button. Then remove the heater control faceplate by lifting lightly on one side to pop it loose(this will also help you remove the AC button) and remove the ashtray. Then you remove the lower center console where the 12v power points are by pushing in the center of the clip with a small screwdriver they should pop out but if not just pry just a little bit with the screwdriver..Then you can remove the (4)screws that hold the main bezel if you need to remove it(WARNING the top left screw is tucked up on an angle above the heater control). You will also need to unplug the passenger airbag shutoff switch the cig lighter and the power points. That's pretty much all there is.

The grille is only held on by about 7 or 8 clips that you can get too from the engine bay.Take a small screwdriver and press on the clip they should come loose. The lower ones can be a PITA but it's not hard to do.
