i was wandering what would be the biggest tire i could fit with 8.5" lift on my '91 p/u without doing any trimming and would have some clearance? thx

i have a 4-5 inch lift and i fit 37s on my 1991 pickup with ifs prolly a 37-38 inch tire but that ifs is goin to be really pissed.

the question shouldn't be how big of a tire can i fit it should be how big of a tire should i fit before having to upgrade my axles. i personally wouldn't run bigger than a 33 on ifs but people run 35's without too much trouble.

I ran a 35x12.50 on my first toyota pickup with 4" suspension and 3" body, but I also didn't go offroad at all with the truck. She was a mall crawler but show stopper. I think that a nice set of 33s is good for IFS. I know that the 35s unless you have upgraded the IFS will wear some parts out with a quickness.
