Toyota is recalling 89-98 pick up trucks, 4-runners and T-100's. Not to sure on the details but it has to do with something being able to break in the steering linkage causing you to lose steering.  |

Yeah, I had the tie-rod on my 100 snap on me...luckily I wasn't going that fast; scary as hell, though. Don't know if that's what they're recalling them for, though, or if it was operator error.

ya the center link between the pitman arm and the idler arm is bein recalled
