Anyone else have drool on ther rig from passong motorists. I love driving my cages rig thru town. The cops just gawk, they havnt pulled me over yet. I think a couple of them wheel anyhow. Not a everyday thing to see a caged rig in Indiana. I think thats why they havnt messed with me yet. almost caused a few accidents from people starring . I think the funniest thing about it was when the NIPSCO guy came to read my meter I seen him taking pictures of my truck with his camera phone. I will post pics of it soon.

Here she is. The cage only fost me $8 for the spraypaint. I have been collecting all the tube for a while. Its a heavy cage but I am not racing. I used 1 1/4" and 1" and some 3/4" pipe. Took about 15 hrs to do. I did it all on my luch brake and brake time at work. I made the pipe bender out of a old porta power and a ram. One of my buddies gave me the dies and shoes. Had to bend the pipes a couple of times. The bob and dovetail took about 5 hrs.

I was thinking about Gloss Blacking the truck and painting the cage red like the sliders. That would look sweet.

Yeah...I was gonna do those colors just like that on my truck but went with a kinda metalic grey instead of black...but I think it would look sweet though

Id hit it with flat black or semi-gloss black. That gloss black surely shines and shows everything.

Its flat black right now. But its about 4 yrs old paint. Has faided a lot. But its a $10 spray paint job. Cant see spending money on paint that is going to get scratched on the trail. Its all go not show.
