i have auto locking hubs on my 96 taco and they seem to not even work at all i got in a bind yesterday and really needed 4 wheel ddrive put they would not lock in the drive shaft would turn but the tires wouldnt not even the little light would come on in my dash so if you all have any suggestions please input i am thinking of getting new front end with maunual locking hubs simply bc that is not the only problem with that front end ita really pissing my bc i got stuck in the middle of the trail were two other litle bitty trucks made it

Wow....I'm surprised they lasted at all with those 39.5's. Auto locking hubs are alot weaker than manual hubs, usually they break with 33's and people get manual one's. You can't swap in manual hubs to a taco?

o they havent lasted they are completly gone now and im jus gona buy a whole new front end suspension and all because it has over 200000 miles on it so its time
