Ok Guy's, I posted this a long time ago and I still need some help. I,ve been looking for a company that makes alum diamond plate rockers for an 85 extra cab toyota. I'll give 50 bucks to the first person who finds a legit company that can supply me with one complete set for my truck. Heck, I'll give 50 bucks to the first person who finds a good used set for me to buy. I'm just gonna have them powder coated black anyway's.

The only trucks I've seen diamond plate rockers for are ones with flat sheet metal, like Jeeps, FJ's and samurai's. How are you going to attach flat diamond plate to round body panels. i'm going to go out on a limb and say what you are looking for does not exist, which is why Toyota guys run rock sliders instead of beefing the rockers.

I will make my own rock sliders when I get some time. I just want the pre bent diamond plate pieces to install on my truck for the look. Thanks Dennis

I would take a look at the ones they put on chevys. My buddie has them on hos full size chevy and it has rounded rocker panels. You might be able to adapt them to your rig. They might fit right on? Just a thought.

;D Yodaman, have you ever seen these on a pickup? I haven't & it sounds like nobody else has either. If you did, someone probably made them @ home. I'd love to take your money, but, I don't think these parts are being made. Later...

Yeah I have seen them. I bought a set a few years back. Actually quite a few years back. That company still makes rocker panels but no longer for my make and model. The only thing I can find is chrome. Last year I ran into a guy with a new set on his extra cab and asked him about it. He gave me the info and I called on them. Just happened that they only made a lot of them and sold out. No word on when or if they will ever have more. I may have to have them custom made. I just wanted to pull resources before I spend the extra bucks for custom made ones. Thanks, Dennis

I read an install article on them years ago. If I recall correctly it was in Peterson's 4Wheel and Off-Road Magazine, you could always check out their site and or e-mail them to see what info they might have. But I can confirm that at one point in time, someone, somewhere made exactly the rockers you're looking for. Good luck.
