I started this about 2yrs ago. I bought it from a guy in south EAST iowa. Well actually traded my shot gun for it. It had 3/4 of a 4" lift on it, crappy wood bed, and reverse gear was all but gone. first thing i did was get the lift fixed, replaced the tranny and cut down the wood bed. Then put on some 33s and welded the rear end

next i replaced the rotted out cross member with a solid shaft then repositioned the rear shocks and replaced them with some off a ford superduty and added a buggy leaf set up at the end of the bobbed frame rails

I have left the wood bed on it. but cut it out just in front of the rear tire into the frame and clear to the rear. put the gas nozel in side the bed. oh I forgot the reason for leaving the bed is for a place to put my doors that come off when i cruz through des moines hehe get alot of terified looks there.

I have removed the bed and front bumper. Hopping to get the new tube stuff easter Sunday. Ordered a locker for the front and got racing seats and 5 point harnesses[img src="http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s247/stice316/132.jpg[/IMG i154.photobucket.com/albums/s247/stice316/133.jpg"]]

Looking good! How's the power with those big boggers on? How's the road ride with the buggy springs?

Your front shock angle looks like it might give you some trouble down the road. Just my $.02
If your shackles were in the front of the spring rather then the rear that looks great but you want a slight rearward angle on them things.

haven't drove it much with the bigger tires . Still have some stuff to do before i take it on a trip. but with the lift and 35s it drove fine down the interstate. the buggy leaf has never caused and issue. Except for a loud bang when going over speed bumps to fast.

what problems am looking for with the front shock angle

Well since the angle of the shock looks opposite of the angle of axle travel you might rip off mounts, break shocks, ruin bushings and so on.

It aint nothing but a thang..
Generally 5-15 degrees toward the driver is where you want to mount them.
