My question: will other brands of shock absorbers work with my Pro-comp Stage II (4inch) susp. lift? If so, any recommendations - or should I stick w/ ES 3000 Pro-comps?

Yes other brands will work, as long as they are extended for the lift of the spring. Pro-Comp can be quite stiff so you may benefit from going with another brand.

Yeah my shocks are beat too! Thinking I might go with bilstein or ranchos. I do alot of wheelin through fields,wooded trails and such. Looking for a shock that soaks up some of the rough ride.
