i was reading somewhere that the 89 22re has an intake chamber that bends down where cnnects to the throttle body. 90 and up have a straight one. i was wondering if anybody knows about this. also which one is better.

no they are all the same from like 85-95. all the throttle bodies, plenums wre the same. the air filter boxes were diffrent through the years but 89-90 are the same in every fasion.
