need help with pistons in 22re

i am currently rebuilding my engine and i have shaved the head, going to bore the cylinders out either .20 or .30, i plan on buying a bigger cam. i want to run 10:1 pistons in my engine. what problems will i have running this kind of piston? i have heard that i haev to run a higher octane gas and ive heard that i need a new header? is this true? any input is appreciated, and if you are running these pistons let me know what you think of them.
