i just bought a 1990 Toyota Pickup , V6 , Auto , 2wd , over 300km
It started fine when i picked it up , but when i got home, parked it , tried to start it a 5 minutes later, it wouldn't start, no cranking , no nothing , all i can hear is a RELAY flicking in the dash on the passenger side ?? i even tried tapping the starter - didn't work , i tried boosting the truck - thinking maybe battery was weak , no luck
Finally after like a couple hours , truck has cooled down , i go to to start it , its Starts with no problem ?? any idea what this could be ??
Also , this Truck has no Stereo at all from factory, does it have speakers at all ?? is there wiring behind the storage tray ?? also me have no attenna , just a rubber seal on the fender
How do u take the storage tray out to install a stereo
Also , when i got to switch my lights on , there are no front lights and the dash doesn't even light up ?? only there rear tailights are on ?? any idea what this is ?? only when u hit the HIGH beam , thats all i get ?? help...
Please share some advice
Thanks in Advance

my advice: buy a different truck. if it doesnt start, has no headlights and no stereo, youll probably spent more time and money than its worth. if you do keep it, the starting problem is probably in the starter motor, if it doesnt even turn over, the headlight probably has a blown fuse, and it has no speakers from the factory. putting a sound system in would probably run at least $1000. good luck -Andrew
