Ok as some of you may know I just put a gm 350 in my Toy and I am starting to have some trouble with my suspension. My truck is starting to lean forward and the ride has become rougher. OK KNOW FOR THE QUESTION. Now that I have my new engine should I stick with IFS and upgrade it? Or should I try a straight front axle swap? By the way I have a 3 in lift with 31's. But I need to resolve this problem soon because I have already ordered my 38 boggers and I have to reorder my lift but I need to decide if Iam stickin with my IFS or changing to straight axle. Please help!!

;D If you have the cash & ability, the SAS is no brainer. After hearing of the motor swap, I assume that you'd do the SAS yourself?? Are you done yet?? ;D Later...

If you ever plan on doing a SAS, don't waste your time any $$ on improving the IFS.

If you wheel it for sure the IFS won't hold up to 38" Boggers even with a stock motor. The obvious choice is a SAS, the only question will be with what axle. A toy solid axle with longfield super axles will hold up to the abuse of 38's as long as you are conservative with the skinny pedal. If you planning on honking on it you might want to save yourself the trouble and just go for the Dana 60 off the hop. A 7.8" ring gear just won't hold up big power and big tires.
