No it would'nt, and why would you want it too. I have one with 37MTR's and the thing is a dog. Here's the swap you need to do, a 7MGTE. No welding motor mounts and you can probably use you existing tranny. www.supracharged.com/other_trucks/john

What gears are you runnin' in those Diffs? If you are still running stock gears in the rears,a gear change IS what you're lookin for to restore lost power(especially going to some real beef).I agree with Sean-that's the way to go for a swap-if you're already geared correctly.Check out the GEAR faq in the articles section of this site. It's easy to use and will show you exactly what I'm talking about.

Once again Sean is on the money. I have the v6 too and it is a dog sometimes. It works pretty well when low geared but all in all if I had to get another engine I would go with a 4.3L v6 or something else. The supra engine is a kicken engine. I owned two supra turbos and I loved the things. The engines are very tough and could handle a lot more boost than the stock turbo's put out. I had over 100k on both engines and they were just getting broken in. They also make many mods for the supra engine with the turbo so if you ever want to get a lot of turbo boost the add-ons are out there.

I am in the process of getting all of my parts to put a 00 tundra v6 in. This is the 3.4, same as tacoma and 3rd gen 4runners. I am also going to the auto tranny, and possibly and AWD multi-mode x-case. I currently have the 22RE, and will have to move my motor mounts, other wise ORS has a kit, with instructions...www.offroadsolutions.com..
I reccomend this swap, since A there is a kit, and B you can bolt up the TRD charger if you want ;D

;D Sounds like everyone nailed it. 3.4L. or Supra swap. Trust us, you'd be VERY disappointed w/a 3L. But, have you regeared it?? You'd be very surprised what the right gears can do. ;D 4x4nala, more power to YA'!!!!! Sounds like quite the project to me. Later...

Well after spending some time on the phone with ORS, and marlin crawler, I have decided to run a gear driven case, with 4.7's. The AWD case would be doable (in theory) but wiring and driveline vibrations are unknown...so back to the basics..besides I love to crawl hehe ;D ;D
