I have a 93p/u w/ a 22re. I have a 5sp, 4x4, K&N drop in, magnaflow after cat, and that's it. Besides headers, what other upgrades can I do for my tired 22re ($300 of so.)

Maybe an ignition upgrade:say a Jacobs with new 8mm+ wires,get your fuel injection all cleaned up-(RunRite about $75. to $100) send out the injectors for ultra sonic cleaning & balancing (about $100.) Any of these will produce noticable improvements for a higher mileage 22RE & in your price range plus it will most likely improve mileage a little.(especally a Jacobs upgrade-Isay Jacobs brand, because it's what I've used & had good results with)
