not that I know of man. But call the dealership with your VIN number and they can give you the "official" low down.

hey all I just bought a 91 toyota pick up 4wd 6cly. I was recently talkin to a mechanic and he said they had a recall on the head gaskets. My new truck has blown head gaskets but I bought it that way for $900.00. its in a little rough shape but its currently in the fix mode. The mechanic said to contact a Toyota dealership to run the vin but my ? is I just bought the car with already blown head gaskets so could I get new ones installed for free?

Yea Toyota will replace any of the recalled head gaskets which are probably yours at no charge. Also I read the terms and if there is any block damage done because of this than they will fix it all for free...sweet deal man. Call up toyota with your vin # and they will hook you up...
