;D I have an 86 toy pickup witha 22re. I fabricated a custom ram air unit . I took the hose that comes out of the air box and runs throgh the radiator support and cut it back a little and connected a 2" piece of sweeper hose onto it. That was curtosy of the local car wash. I then ran the hose down to the rectanggular hole in the bumper and made a little bracket out of some thin guage steel. It add a little more pep .

Have you had any problems sucking in other stuff? Do you wheel this truck? I would be careful putting an intake that low on a vehicle that goes offroad. But if thats not what ya use it for..no big deal...cruise on

:oI wheel it often I have never had any real problems sucking anything in. My k&n stops the bugs though. I was also thinking of doing the hole in the airbox thing. I was pondering on putting the hole behind the box closest to the fender. has any one had any troubles with sucking water in with this trick.

;D Is it just me or did everyone miss the " courtesy of the local carwash" comment? Really hope you know the "car wash" guy well. Later...
