Its myfirst toyota pick up and I cant wait to get it runnin, its a 91 pick up v6 4x4.. what kinda heads should I buy. Im looking for cheap but good, I still have to find out what cause the blown gaskets,, one more thing what else should I replace in the motor. and I cant afford a whole new one thats why I thought it would be cheaper to do it myself. with a little hep of some friends....

You can call around to other dealers with your VIN number and check to see if they are BS'in ya. So did you blow your head gasket and also ruin the heads? You asked what heads to buy. Not sure why you need new heads unless you warped em, bent valves, or something else. You can also just have your heads reworked if thats what you need. You'll just need a new head gasket from toyota to repair the old one. Also check the cylinders to make sure the pistons are not scored or the cylinder walls are scored. Sometimes warping can occur in high heat so you just want to make sure everything is straight before you put it back together. I haven't done this repair on my truck but I ahve on other makes, so there might be more info someone else can give ya to help. I know there is a stud kit for the v6's from DOA engines that is supposed to help with the head gasket failure problem too. You can check their website. Good luck. If you have time...do a write up for the site about how it went. ;D
