I have a 90' 4x4 with stock 4.11's, I wanna run 32's and I was told 4.56's would push them well. Who makes a good gear at a cheap price?

4.56 and 32' will work great ... your best bet is to pick up a set of gear from and auto wrecker get the front diff and rear 3rd member and bolt them in. Front diff on a 4cyl and 6cyl are the same, rear third member from a v6 is prefferable as it's a 4 pinion instead of the 2 pinion in the 4 cyl. Other options with re-gearing are: electric locking diff from late model 4runner or limited slip from 86+ supra or aftermarket. Myself I will stick modifying toyota before purchasing aftermarket parts Search this site for parts: www.car-parts.com

Yeah I agree, check a wrecker. I got both my e-locker and front V6 diff with 4.56's from a local wrecker at a pretty good price. The e-locker had very few miles on it too boot.

Do you have a v6 or 4cyl. I'll probably be selling all my gear off my truck next month. Got a rear 4.56 axle with lockright, and a front ifs diff with 4.56. Could sell ya the whole thing and all you would have to do is bolt it in.

Well I got a v6. I live in TN. might have to do a swap over to my complete rear axle. The v6 gears differ from the 4cyl gears.

A V6 diff bolts right in to a cylinder housing. I have a V6 diff in my front axle assembly, which of course is a 4clyinder housing as they never made the solid front axle with a 6.

The front diff will work but I believe the rear axle on a 4cyl has a smaller diff than the v6. Its been a long day at work and i can't remember a dang thing...but at least thats what I thought.
