Hey everyone. hoping to find a little help here. I was planning on lifting my 4runner using the Stage3-ProComp 4" lift. Although, I read some negative comments about it alignment when hooking it up. I've also been looking at superlift's 4.5" lift. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands of lift kits, the best ones? Also, theres a spare carrier I saw for a 1990 4runner. Would that fit on my 1993 4runner?
Thanks! Sheena

Yo shorty,
Not really sure on the alignment thing but when i put a 4" lift on my truck alignment wasn't that big a deal. Just took it to a shop and aligned it up. As far as brand I figure they are all really about the same IMO. The bumper should work. Its the same bodystyle.

so you mean the spare carrier would fit fine on my 4runner because the bumpers are the same? even if i put a 33" spare on there?

Well...is it a stock toyota tire carrier? Or is it an aftermarket tire carrier? If it is stock I don't know if it will carry a 33. If it is aftermarket you need to check with the manufacturer.

Hey man. I can get you a good deal on a Superlift 4-5" kit. I have had one on my '91 4runner for about a week now and I highly recommend it if you're not going all out with a SAS. There were ablolutely no problems with the alignment on my truck . It look them like 20 minutes to align it. ,Louis

Not putting ProComp down or anything, But I have used their springs before and sheared the bolts in them the first time out. Just my two cents.
