Hey Fellas,
I just purchased the K&N performance kit for my 93 Toyota, 22RE. I have read a lot of feedback over the years about it and liked what I have heard. I was waiting until I freed up the exhaust, which I did about a month ago. I now have a free flow cat, dynomaxx muffler then dualed out the back with 2.0" tailpipes with Monza Tips. So far so good.
I live in an area where it rains quite a bit, is that going to affect it much because of it being exposed? And for anyone that has this on their truck, any hints or tricks to putting it on that I should know about. Any comments about the K&N Performance Kit are apreciated! Thanks!

I've got one. I have a v-6 though. I'm verry happy with the result. I have to say that it's not much of an increase in power, if any. I love the sound though. It is louder. I worry about the water too. So far no problems, but I take no chances of driving in heavy rain. Should be ok though. A hard part for me was combining some k&n parts with the stock parts. The instructions said it was going to be a tight fit, it WAS. Had to soak stuff in hot water and really fight it. Don't exaclty remember what part, pretty sure it was some intake tubing and an elbow or something. Don't know if you'll even have it. Again, not much increase, but the sound is great!
