My front tires are cupping on the inside edge? the inside tread block is cupping hard but the rest is wearing fine. I live on a very tight curvy road that I travel daily. Is it from the constant turning? any ideas on what to do. THey are futura dakota LT'S 31-11.50-15 cheap version of bfg all terrain. 350.00 for the set at pep boys. great low buck tire.

You might get a front end alignment and see if that helps ya out. Also dont forget to rotate them treads.

I've seen in the past where cupping can be caused by old & worn out shocks. If your shocks are new then go for the alignment and rotate regularly. I rotate mine every other oil change. Keeps it regular and consistant.

;D Nice DEADLY!!! Anyway...there are 5 things that USUALLY cause this:
#1, worn or bent steering parts. #2, tired shocks #3, vehicle out of alignment #4, tires not rotated on a regular basis #5, vehicle overloaded causing alignment problems.
Look over this list & you'll probably get a good idea where the problem lies. 99% of the tire wear issues I deal w/are fixed in these areas. Later...

The truck pulls to the right a little. the other day I was looking at it from the front and it looked like the tops of the tires tilted in. bad ball joints??? I know that rangers do this after a while. I think they are equipped with a bad front suspension set up. I rotate them every 6,000miles.

when I firstgot the truck I took it muddin and after thatit had a shimmy at exactly 52 miles an hour above or below that it was fine. so I had the front end alligned that helped but out until th enext time I went off road. then I lifted it and put on the new tires and it went away and has not been back since. I changed the tires myself at home with the hand changing tools. its easy. now no vibs. just a litle cupping
