I need to know where to get a good set of springs for my 92 4x4 delx. I want to do a suspenson lift probably 8-11 inches. theres a picture on the message board under 4x4 discusion- Lets see your rigs. It already has a 3 inch body lift and 3 inch suspenson lift. I need to know the best way and if i would need springs on the front and the back. Thanks

Well to start off with I just want to say....Nice looking rig.
You wouldn't necessarily need to have springs..... you could do more body lift, but that would be a BAD, make that a VERY BAD THING to do.
Well seems like you still have an IFS suspension up front so you will need to go with leaf springs there. I believe that 3" is about max for those.
Now for the 8"-11" lift.....did you want this as a total amount of lift or extra lift? Also what size tires were you thinking of running?

Thanks man-- well depending on what kind of power I can get when I modify the engine, I would like to go up to a 38 x 13. I dont want to tires to look too big being that it is a standard cab and a 6 foot bed.
I thought springs were the only way to go higher than 6 inches?
And also I wouldnt want to go higher than the body lift I have now b/c you can kind of see the frame and also the transmission guard that sticks down.

One other thing I forgot to ask. What are you going to be using you rig for? Rock Crawling, Mudding, Casual Wheeling, or just for looks.

To get 8 to 11 inches of lift you would probably have to go with chevy or ford springs. The most that ive seen for a toyota is 7" and chevy is 12"

In the rear to use longer chevy or ford springs you will have to weld on new front spring hangers, I made mine myself out of 3.5" 1/4"wall tube. You will also likely have to move the shackle hanger back. In the front it will require an SAS.

If you want to go with Chevy springs then keep your eyes out for a new FAQ in the General 4x4 forum called FAQ Chevy Springs. I should be done with it by Monday morning.
