hey, i got a '88 runner w/ a blown motor and i have a f-150 that has a crap body, so im going to put the engine, tranny and transfer case into the runner and dump the f150 at the bone yard. does anyone have any directions or tips for this swap? thanks a lot.

Hey Check this out a '91 5.0 HO in a '91 4Runner members.ozemail.com.au/~jonhel5/ but anyways that i know of the drive shaft output for the 4WD on Fords is on the drivers side, the toyota has the diff. on the passanger side. You can though get a adapter to place a 4cylinder gear driven transercase so that the drive shaft is where it should be.
