I trimmed my bump stops up front for a little bit more wheeel travel the other day. I cut about 5/8" of the the top stops and the bottom stops.. Does anyone have any pics of bump stops. my rig is not equipped with them. Can this over stress my springs ?

My rig is equipped with bump stops up front and I trimmed those to get a little more wheel travel. In the rear I have stops like towards the front of the springs. I must of been having one of those moments. I''m used to seeing them right below the frame that is above the axle. Sorry about the mass confusion.

I think that would cause some harm and really hard bottoming out on big bumps. I would not remove them completly, just trim them.

hello everybody, I did cut the bumpstosp but I replaced it with energy suspension bumpstops that are like 1/2 inch of height and reinforced de frame of the bumpstop, it gave me like an inch or so fo articulation.
