The way I figured my axle code was from the sticker(or plate) in the driver side door jam. It is set up like this: C/TR/A/TR............color code, trim code, axle code, transmission code. There should be 4 digits in the axle code. The first is the ring gear diameter, the next two are gear ratio, and the last is pinion gears. I then used Downey's catalog to decode it. Mine looked like this G292......G=8" ring gear,29=4:10ratio,2=#of pinion gears. If you don't have Downey's catalog, find the axle code and post it. I'll look it up and try to make sense of it. BTW, there is alot of info on that sticker, look in the lowe right hand corner, it's where I found mine. Good luck.

hey thanks alot i found the info, but mine was located on a in the middle of my firewall under my hood and i couldn't read the numbers so i used a trick a that a dealership parts guy showed me, spray the plack with an WD40 or brake clean and the numbers will magically appear for a few seconds, just long enough to write a few down and respray. i came up with 202/hd11/g292/r150f
