I know these probably get annoying, but I am asking this for a friend. He has an '88 regular cab Pickup with 22-RE. He has a 4" suspension lift and is currently running 33's on 15x8 wheels. But, he wants to get 35x12.50x15 and put them on 15x10" wheels. Will his 4" suspension lift be enough for 35's? anyone have 35's on their 86-88 Pickups? Also, he doesn't want to regear yet, so will 35's and stock 4.10 gears be exceptionally slow or is it tolerable?

I think if he puts on a 3" body lift they will fit. But I dont think that It is going to move down the road very fast.

He will definately notice 35's with 4.10 gears. If it is a manual shift he will just end up burning the clutch to get it going. I have 4.56 gears with 33's and on hills I have that problem sometimes. He can fit 35's with the 4 " lift and a 3" body lift. Without the body lift he is going to rub. Of course he could just whack the fenders a bit.

He can also put the 35 - 12.50's on the 8" wheels and save some $$.
