A few questions, new to the Toyota suspension so sorry if I sound like a dumbass. This is an 86 Toyota 4cly 4x4.
What's a good lift for an 86? I looked around, found the Skyjacker 4" lift system. And uh would I need a new pitman arm with this? The kit doesn't any anything about it. This is our first suspension lift on a Toyota. For the 4" on a Ranger we had to get a pitman arm. It says the kit includes:
Rr Leaf Sprng Spindles Skid Plate/Sway Bar/Diff Brkts A-Arm Cross Member Bump Stop Spacer Brk Line Rr UBolt Kit
Is there anything else we would need in addition it this other than new shocks? Or how about the Rough Country 4" lift kit? Is that any good?
One final question, would 5.29's be good for 38" tires? That's what's on there now with just a body lift and some fender trimming.
Thanks
