Do you have ot have a filter on the diff vent??? I was scoping out the rear end of my rig one day adn noticed that my whole breather was gone. WHAT THE F**K MAN. So I took a piece of hose and used some liquid nails and temporarily made one. I dont have a filter on the end of it though. Could I just run the hose up to inside the taillight housing?

U dont need a filter but yes i helps keep crap from inside the diff. If u run it to the tail light u have no problem, cause unless ur seal is crapy or torn, water or anything should not leak in.

Definitely no worries for normal driving. If you wheel i'd be worried about the tube getting hung up on something and ripped off, then debris could get in.
