I've had my truck sitting around, not running for almost a year due to a possible head gasket or cracked cylinder head and me being out of state . While sitting, the same oil and gas have been in the truck. I know i need to drain the oil and change the filter, but is that all i need to do for that or do i need to do something else to clean out the old oil? and if so, are there any products out there that i can use? Also, the gas.....syphon it out or what, and use a cleaning additive for that as well? i really want to get it running but due to funds, it may be a few more months till all is fixed. Thanks for your advice

Ok, nevermind that question. Lets try this one: I blew either a head gasket or cracked a cylinder head....Judging by the look of the oil (Almost looks like someone poored Chocolate Milk in there).......head gasket? Also, started it up to put it on a trailer, and pure WHITE smoke. Head gasket? just trying to figure some things out.

;D I agree. Sounds like either a head gasket or head. Either way, the motor has to come apart. I'd worry about the motor long before I worried about the gas. BTW, what are we working on? ;D Later...

Check the Timing Chain Cover for cracks as well. With the oil having water in it, it might be a posibility.
