okay, i've changed alot of stuff on this damn thing and now the front two injecters are leaking on the drivers side what to do ? i noticed a fuel smell real bad (after is filled the tank yesterday) and seen the fuel vapors in the sun light and got to looking around after it started the idling rough again and there it was i have replaced the following with new parts so far:TPS,AFM,fuel filter and pump,plugs,wires,the entire distributor,and had the timimg set can anyone help me? duane

;D No option but to pull it apart & fix it. Not only will the truck not run right, it's a serious safety issue. There are numerous places to have them rebuilt/balanced. There's probably a shop in your area or go mailorder. It's also a good chance to clean the plenum up & service the throttle body. Wait a second, according to your info, you have a 2003 Tacoma. IF this is the vehicle in ?, why is'nt it @ the dealer? IF it's not, please let us know what you're working on. Later...

He also has a 89 4 runner. Maybe that is what it is on. Bu other than that fred is right. You don't want those bad injectors setting your truck a blaze. I had some injectors cleaned once by mailorder and it worked fine. Can't remember the name of the shop but Im sure you could google search it. Just remember even though its been a real PITA to fix, once you get it done you won't have to think about it later.

probibly not the injectors. The fuel rail has a pressure cut off switch that is suppose to keep the fuel rail pressure down. They have a tendancy to go bad and overpresser the rail and subsequently leak.

hey guys it was the o rings and egr thanks for the help and by the way i removed all the vac hoses and feed them back into where the intake pluged it you would like, and MY GOD MY TRUCK RUNS GREAT NOW it will haul a$$ and really shifts alot better now i guees it couldn't breathe very well with all the ex. gases going back into the intake. i'mgoing to remove the whole egr thing and weld up some plates to cover the old holes besides i will use this 4runner for muddin' and 4 whelling anyway i only wished i knew just what the engine need to operate(run) and remove everything else. duane
