First I would like to thank everyone for there ideas and suggestions in lifting my yota. I ended up going with NWOR. I bought their 3.5in system with new front and rear leaf springs, I also got their 2in lift shackles. I am happy with the results (at least looks havent taken it out yet, lol) Now all i need to buy is some tires, lol. Anyway, here are the pics of my 85 yota, say it aint bad for a now poor college kid ;D

Herm, in the future.... I Plan on running some 33x12.50's once i get a litte more money. I also want to lock my axles and get either 4.88 or 5.29 gears. After that I plan on making a custom roll bar with a tire mount (hate the stock spare mount, and hate the small spare even more!) Other than that, a winch at some point and probably an engine swap when mine decides to call it quits, probably a 4.3l chevy. hmm, thats a lot of money for a college kid, maybe just the tires for now get the rest once im outa school

Sounds like a good plan. I've heard you can get 33" mud terrains at wal-mart these days for cheap.

The flames add about 20 hp. Thats what i'v heard It looks good. Identicle to my rig but mine is a 86' I hate IFS. What kind of tires do you have on their now. I have seen them before but cant tell what make? How well do they do in the mud, rocks, etc.. Im thinking of buck shot mudders next but not shure.

Them tires be da wallmart specials, at least the three you see. The rear driers side has an old BFG mud terrain (someone decided it would be fun to slash my tire ) As to their performance... got them down here in Phoenix, and am yet to find actualy mud, at least a Washintonians idea of mud...so not sure on that, but when I took her out the last weekend she was climbin some nasty hills pretty good. She also liked the quad trails we found. Im not goin to really try any rocks cause I need her to remain in drivable condition for the next 2 years tell im out of school (friend has a car, but he cant drive me everywhere ;D ) so, umm, not sure if that answers yer question or not, but i believe the BFG mud terrains do a bit better, what my friend has, and he could go a little better (then again he has 33x12.50's and mine just be 31x10.50's atm so that good of a camparison...) /shrug me be no tire expert i just buy what is affordable atm... THey work for me
