i'm a new member to this forum. i had a question about a chevy 350 swap. i've heard that it will work, i was wondering what it took to make it work, if its even worth it, or is there a better way to get more power out of the stock 2.7 4banger.

Welcome. Yes it will work. It takes a LOT of time and $$ to make it work. Wether it's worth it is hard to say, everyones situation is different. For more info try the SEARCH button.

it all depends on if you have a motor allready the other parts are fairly inexpensive the only real problem i have encountered is radiator fit and size but when it comes togther no one wants to be behind me when i hit the gas pedal

I dont know if you know anything about the buick V6's (i believe 231 ci) but they are a lot lighter, smaller and push just about the same amount of power as your standard Chevy small block 350. Its just a thought. I have actually thought about going the buick route myself. Good luck~Chris Oh if you are really interested in swaping out your old motor and need some kits for a swap check out www.northwestoffroad.com and also check with advanced adapters, they offer a kit for about 450 bucks or so!
