Man, when there are no posts over here to read I'll go over to yotatech and look around a bit. I guess I'm getting old or something, but I don't understand the kids that put roofracks and TJM bumpers on thier 'runners, and then top it off with low profile street tires. I think it should be called posertech.com. Thanks once again to Mike for giving us the best Toyota site on the web.

the best is when some jacka$$ buys a 4X4, and rips out the 4 wheel drive system just to lower the truck i've seen this done to many times

And what's wrong with lifting a 2WD? And this summer it may become a full blown Weekend Warrior Rock Crawler if time and parts find their way to me.

I went to look at appalachian state in boone, NC, and about every second Jeep Cherokee and a few 4Runners had big bumpers and a rack with the spare mounted on top. Usually the tires were BFG AT's or something but the spare was usually pretty week. The only good part about it was about 70% had hot girls behind the wheel. Will

Very good greenhead, you noticed. I guess what you didn't notice is that it's a 73. Toyota did make a 4x4 pickup until 79. I had put it through the surgery of the SAS back in 86. And this summer will hopefully it become a Weekend Warrior which is a 4x4 that is too tall and unsafe for street driving.

As a previous owner of a nice built nissan 2wd prerunner, I can respect anything that is purpose built and used, I just loathe the aestetic crowd.
