ok i know this can be done because the truck on the front/home page has it. my question is what mods will i have to make to my bumper to allow for the front spring hangers of the sas? ive been pondering this all day today and i cant think of anything. so any help would be appreciated thanks jayson

I looked around but couldn't find a good close up of the ARB on a Toyota. The spring hanger will mount where the old IFS skid plate bolts up. If you can take that on and off with the bullbar I don't think you will have difficulties. Maybe post a pic so I can understand what you mean better. Here is a pic of the spring hanger.

Jayson can you take a pic of the mounts your ARB currently has? Your probably just going to have to fab some mounts for it. There is a guy with a tacoma who did this and he had to basically make his own mounts. Here is his website... www.watrd.com

these arent pics of mine but of another guy who had to go through the same steps of modding the arb to adapt the sas front spring hangers these are kind of bad pics but you can see the mounts there www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=21042 this guy customized his bumper and mounts and is pretty much what im looking for but i have no welding skills or a shop to do these

You're going to have to cut the mounts out of the bumper where they contact the outside of the framerails. This is gonna present the need to refab some sort of braces because you will be removing the most important mounting surfaces on the unit. Assuming that you have mounted this bumper before, you know how tight the tolerances are on a stock vehicle, so it'll probably take an afternoon of trial and error. A grinder. plasma cutter, and a six pack should fix it. ;D Good luck. Show us some pics!
