Do you guys grease your lug nuts when you puts them on?
My lug nuts were almost siezed in place after the winter and lately they haven't felt very smooth when putting them on.
When i put my wheel on today i put a little grease on the studs and the nuts went on super smooth.
Is it bad to grease the studs, any fear of vibrating off?

;D Every service manual made will tell you to use NO lubrication whatsoever. The OEM's say lube affects torque readings. Ok, now my view. Any metal to metal surface should protected. I use anti-seize(very sparingly) on the studs & where the wheel centers ride. I've never had a problem & everything comes apart smooth. Later...

I've used Anti-sieze on all my vehicle studs. I love the stuff.

Maybe I'm wrong but I've always used crc power lube every 2 or 3 tire rotations always have and never had a problem one way or the other

It may sound dumb, however i dab a touch of white grease on all the studs when i feel them getting rough to put on or take off. Also, i believe it has a bit to do with proper torqueing of the lugs. If you over torque you distort the stud when it heats up.

Alittle anti seize has worked wonders for many years.
