Hey guys, I've always wanted black wheels and had two options- black spraypaint: $10 Black wheels:~$200 I opted for the former. Here are the before and after pictures: I also got new milemarker hubs (one of the factory hubs was rusted out, and they look sick with the black rims) BEFORE: AFTER: Notice I also added a camper shell I got for free. I never really liked camper shells, but for some reason I think it makes my truck look beefier. Maybe its the color or something.

the before and after pics look good. but how did you get the $200 dollar price for the rims. i have a set of american racing black rim with the red pin stripping shipped about 2 years ago for 25 each.

It depends what size you are getting. the size I was looking at was $40. So I guess $160.

Well, I started by using a die grinder and a roloc bristle pad (has little plastic bristles) but it was too hard to get in the tight spaces. so I just took some sandpaper and scuffed the entire surface. This ended up working and looking better that the die grinder. Then I sprayed a rust-proof primer and a couple of coats of rust-proof black gloss paint. The best thing would be to use a sand blaster, but i didn't have access to one. you might be able to rent one though!
