No idea, but if you find out let us know. Have you tried searching the web for import export companies who specialize in vehicle transport?

Importing is definatley possible but it may run a little extra cash that might not make it worth it. I live in Germany and many people have explored this option. Heres what I can tell you. If you plan on making the truck street legal in the U.S, the truck or auto has to be "modified" to meet U.S specs. This usally includes the replacement of the windows, headlights, dash guts, bumpers and exhaust system (cat con). Sounds easy but the trick is that only 2 contracts are leaglly allowed to make any of theses replacements. One in Cali and one in S.C. these replacements must be gov't certified and annotated on the car somewhere. Want to pick up the car at the port and do the changes later? Not gonna happen. I read that the customs yard at the ports will hold the car until the correct mods are made. One way around it is once the truck or auto is 30 years old it doesn't need the mods. If you want there is a website, can't remember it now but type is U.S Customs into search engine and I 'll think you'll find it. If it was easy I'd be out of the military and selling all the diesel Hilux's and cheap BMW's to the states making a HUG profit. Hope this helps. Maybe it's different coming from the Pacific side but I doubt it.
