how much lift can you get from tortion bars on an 86-88..I've heard 3 inches..But I think that it would ride too ruff at 3 inches.. Need a recomendation from someone..

yeah that would ride a bit rough, maybe you want to get a set of ball joint spacers instead

ive never heard of ball joint spacers..Ive only delt with coilsovers and springs..About how much are the ball joint spacers?

about 100-120 for 4wd and 160 for 2wd.

Forget cranking the torsions up. Get out the sawzall and make room for those tires.

I had a 89 with 3inch block in rear and torsions cranked up and it was almost level. You will proably want to take out your upper rubber bump stop so it wont be hitting or touching it

cool, thanks.. Imma try 2 inches and Ill let ya know how it rides...By the way, how do I know that its even on both sides?? Do I measure from the top of the tire, or is there a dial under the truck??

eye ball it...jk measure from the top of your rim to the wheel well

I would swap for 25mm torsion bars, but I agree more with Sean "GET THE SAWZALL!"
