Driving down an interstate my truck suddenly died. Knew it was a fuel problem. Checked the EFI fuse and it was blown. Replaced it and 2 miles down the road it blew once again. I had no more and I needed to get to an exit so i ran a small piece of wire instead of a fuse. Well it ended up in a $299 tow ride. Truck turns over fine and the fuse in it now is good. But will not attempt to fire. Any help!?

You probably fried something putting the wire in. There was a reason the fuse was blowing. Maybe there is a short somewhere. No spark, no fuel? What does it not have?

fuel guage is at half, new plugs and wires. . . but i can never tell if the fuel pump turns on and off when i turn the key on. Anyways I checked the O2 sensor wires and they checked good. . im at a loss. Guess im gonna have a mechanic fix it because wiring is out of my league. Ask my cj7 when i tried to put a new radio in it. . .
