This summer I did a complete overhaul on my 87 extra cab truck. Its a carbed 22R/5spd/4x4. This summer it went through a complete overhaul to include Keith Black pistons, mid-rang cam, weber carb, Thorley header, 2 1/4" exhaust with free flow cat and muffler. Once the new engine was broken in, I had it dyno tuned. When I went to pick the truck up, the conversation turned towards ignitions. The gentleman who did the tuning said that a different ignition MIGHT give it even more "guts" than what it has. After looking around, I found the DUI (Davis Unified Ignition) for the 22R. Its seems like a fairly decent price at $349, and a lot simpler than many of the multi-component ignitions I've seen. Has anyone here had any experience with the DUI? And if so, whats your thoughts/opinion?
Many Thanks!

Well it's basically Chevy HEI which is fine since you'll never need to go past 6500 RPM Good option for the carbed trucks.
