I have a 3.slow engine from a 93 5speed ext cab. I want to rebuild engine it has 260k on it. How much money would it cost to bring it back to life?
and if anybody had a block and heads they want to sell to me in the maritimes area, i might consider buying depending on the price.

I can't tell you exactly but my guess is that it would take about 600 to 1200 to rebuild it. Otherwise call up our friends over at LCE and get a quote on a new motor. If you want to soup it up you are looking at quite a bit more depending on what kind of mods you want to do to the motor.

I found a place selling reman heads. 519 per head or 684 per head. I assume the more expensive head comes with a cam but thats just a guess as the site doesnt say. This is without a core exchange so if you found a place that took cores you could save money there. www.rpmrons.com/ToyotaHds.html

This might help you out. www.engnbldr.com/toyota_30_v6.htmI got a rebuild kit from here for my 22R and it worked well. Motors still running strong with about 25000kms since the rebuild.
