I was just wondering if anyone with a front winch bumper and an 8000 ld winch has any problems with the bearings going in the stock hubs. IFS and the straight axle as I plan to do a SAS in the future and dont want to have it work on one and not on the other. I have a 1992 truck ;D if you need to know that.

Should be no problem, just make sure to tear down and check that everything is good on the the straight axle when you get.

92 cab and half, 4x4, 8000 warn winch, full front brush guard (installed when the truck had 300 miles on it) with 314,000 miles. original bearings, no problemo.

Never had a problem all these years with the front Toy wheel bearings. Changed a few rears but the only fronts i bought was when i rebuilt the axle for the SAS 5+ years ago and that was only because i wanted everything new. The originals look fine and in retrospect i would save myself the 200 hun and reuse them if i could do it over.
Then again I service mine at least twice a year on average, depending on how much stuff i break that year.
